Mechanical (M&E) Design Engineer, Data-Centre

Design the mechanical systems for data centres (cooling, chilled water, pipework, pumps, chillers), including heat load and hydraulic calculations. Prepare tender documents and evaluate contractor and vendor bids, then recommend an award to the client. Check site works for quality, and witness testing and commissioning until the system is handed over. Work with clients, project managers, contractors, and other disciplines (electrical, architectural, structural, fire) to resolve issues and get approvals. Support the Project Director/Manager on delivery, and grow into leading projects and guiding junior engineers. Requirements Minimum 1-3 years of relevant experience in an Engineering/M&E Consultancy, or Specialist M&E Contractor for Data-centre works Degree in Mechanical or Electrical discipline Basic knowledge of Project execution processes. Advanced knowledge of local code of practice of design implementation.
