BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking a Home Health Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our Denver Visits team. Please note that this role requires flexibility and the ability to travel throughout the office's entire coverage area. Per Diem, Part Time, and Full Time schedule options available.
As a home health COTA, you’ll join a multi-disciplinary home health care team that provides rehabilitative care and skilled nursing to clients, affording them the opportunity to receive medical care at home. How You’ll Make an Impact:
Be partnered with an experienced and supportive home health Occupational Therapist
Follow established care plans and work with patients 1:1 to improve function, ADL, and IADLs
Educate and instruct patients, family members, and other patient representatives in rehabilitative care and activities necessary to support the client’s health, safety, and independent living
Accurately document observations, interventions, and evaluations pertaining to patient care management and services provided, utilizing a state-of-the-art touch pad tablet

Qualifications for a BAYADA Occupational Therapy Assistants:
Be licensed as a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant in Colorado
Have graduated from an occupational therapy curriculum accredited jointly by the Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation of the AMA and the AOTA, as indicated by school transcript or diploma; OR
Have two years of appropriate experience as an Occupational Therapy Assistant and a satisfactory grade on a proficiency exam conducted, approved, or sponsored by the U.S. Public Health Service when initial qualification occurred before December 31, 1977
Have at least one year of work experience supervised by a qualified Occupational Therapist
Be willing and able to travel in assigned territory

Base Pay: $40-45 per point, depending on qualifications
