Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities:

Perform routine, preventive, and corrective maintenance on mechanical equipment. Troubleshoot and repair machinery, pumps, conveyors, gearboxes, compressors, and other plant equipment. Conduct inspections to identify faults and prevent equipment breakdowns. Replace worn or damaged mechanical components and carry out basic fabrication where required. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment faults. Ensure compliance with safety procedures and maintenance standards. Support the maintenance team during equipment installation, servicing, and overhauling.

Requirements:

Minimum of an OND in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Technology, or a related field. Minimum of 2 years’ experience in mechanical maintenance, preferably in a manufacturing/industrial environment. Good knowledge of mechanical systems, tools, and maintenance practices. Ability to troubleshoot equipment faults effectively. Good communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.

Remuneration:  NGN150,000/month
