HR Manager

HR Manager | Nigeria

We’re partnering with an international company to recruit an HR Manager in Nigeria. This role will lead local HR operations and serve as the main link between the Nigeria office and the company’s headquarters.

Key Responsibilities

Manage the full recruitment cycle, from job posting and candidate screening to interview coordination, offers, and onboarding. Partner with business leaders and HQ to align local HR practices with business priorities. Develop and implement HR policies and procedures in line with Nigerian labour laws and company standards. Oversee compensation and benefits administration, payroll coordination, and HR compliance. Support employee engagement and maintain a safe, organised, and productive workplace. Handle employee relations matters, including grievances and disciplinary issues, fairly and promptly. Manage HR administration, office facilities and supplies, and vendor relationships.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or higher in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. At least 7 years of HR management experience, ideally in a multinational organisation. Strong knowledge of Nigerian labour laws and HR best practices. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in written and spoken English; local language skills are an advantage.

Experience in a technology company, startup, or high-growth environment is a plus. Experience with compensation benchmarking or salary market analysis is also desirable.
