HR Manager

Key responsibilities: Provide HR leadership across the employee lifecycle.
Advise managers and employees on performance, development, engagement, and employee relations.
Apply HR policies and processes consistently and in line with employment law.
Support recruitment, workforce planning, onboarding, and talent development.
Lead organisational change, culture, and engagement initiatives.
Coach managers on leadership, communication, performance, and people decisions.
Maintain accurate HR records and use people data to inform decisions.
Collaborate across HR, Payroll, Finance, Legal, and the wider business.
What you will do: Develop and implement HR plans aligned with business priorities and organisational objectives.
Manage employee relations cases with professionalism, discretion, and a balanced approach.
Support annual HR processes, including performance reviews, salary reviews, workforce planning, and people reporting.
Identify opportunities to simplify and improve HR processes and the employee experience.
Contribute to learning and development activities that strengthen capabilities across the organisation.
Promote a diverse, inclusive, and respectful working environment.
Stay up to date with relevant employment legislation, HR trends, and best practice.
Your background: Several years of experience in a generalist HR Manager or HR Business Partner role.
Relevant academic degree or professional qualification in Human Resources, employment relations, business, or a related discipline.
Solid knowledge of UK employment law and practical experience managing employee relations matters.
Experience supporting managers and employees across a broad range of HR topics.
Experience working in a regulated, international, or matrix organisation is an advantage.
Strong digital skills and experience using HR information systems and Microsoft Office.

Strong communication and influencing skills, with the ability to handle sensitive conversations with care.
Commercially aware, pragmatic, and able to translate business needs into effective HR solutions.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
Adaptable and resilient, with the confidence to support change in a dynamic environment.
Fluency in English, written and spoken.
