Civil & Structural Design Engineer
A1 Main Contractor Building & Industrial Projects East / South | Multiple Vacancies Competitive Salary + Bonus Our client is an established A1 Main Contractor with a strong track record in building, industrial and infrastructure projects in Singapore. Due to continued project growth, they are looking for experienced Civil & Structural Design Engineers to join their project team. Responsibilities Manage and coordinate Civil & Structural design works for building and industrial projects. Review structural designs, drawings, calculations and technical submissions to ensure compliance with project requirements and Singapore standards. Coordinate with architects, structural consultants, M&E consultants, process engineers, QS, subcontractors and project teams . Review and coordinate RC, steel, precast, foundation, piling, substructure and superstructure works . Review shop drawings, method statements and technical submissions. Identify and resolve design, coordination and site-related technical issues . Prepare and coordinate tender packages and technical documentation. Liaise with consultants and relevant authorities on Civil & Structural submissions and approvals . Support Project Managers in ensuring projects are delivered according to programme, quality and technical requirements . Conduct site inspections and provide practical engineering solutions during construction. Requirements Degree in Civil / Structural Engineering or equivalent. Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Civil & Structural design or engineering. Experience in building, industrial, commercial or infrastructure projects will be considered. Strong knowledge of RC and steel structures, foundations and structural detailing . Experience with precast structures, long-span structures or industrial buildings will be advantageous. Familiar with Singapore codes, standards and authority submission requirements . Experience coordinating with consultants, contractors and multidisciplinary project teams. Strong technical, coordination, communication and problem-solving skills.
OTHER INFORMATION: Location: East / South Working days: 5 Days Salary : up to S$7,500 / Negotiable + VB (salary will commensurate according to experience & qualifications).
