Job Summary:

As a collaborative member of our global Talent Acquisition team, the Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for managing full-cycle recruitment across a variety of roles, departments, and geographies—driving searches from kickoff through offer acceptance. This role partners closely with hiring teams to deliver efficient, high-quality hiring outcomes while leveraging data, market insights, and structured processes to optimize search performance. As the first member of the Abacus team whom the candidate interacts with, you will be an Ambassador of Abacus’ culture, values, and mission, providing an exceptional candidate experience throughout.

Responsibilities (including, but not limited to):

Conduct Full-Cycle Recruitment for Assigned Requisitions

Own full-cycle recruiting across multiple requisitions, from kickoff through offer and onboarding transition

Manage candidate pipelines within the ATS, ensuring accurate candidate data, tracking, updates, and reporting across systems such as Monday.com and Greenhouse

Partner with hiring managers to define role scope, interview processes, and candidate profiles during kickoff and throughout the search lifecycle

Design and optimize interview processes to ensure efficiency, consistency, and proper evaluation standards aligned with company policy

Schedule and coordinate interviews, drive bi-weekly hiring syncs, and maintain process momentum across stakeholders

Review interview feedback, manage scorecard digestion, and guide hiring teams toward data-driven decisions

Lead offer processes including compensation alignment, approvals, and candidate negotiations; escalate complex cases as needed

Identify and resolve search challenges, bottlenecks, and pipeline gaps to maintain progress against hiring goals

Manage the Candidate Experience

Proactively communicate in a way that enhances the candidate’s experience; ensure each candidate walks away feeling valued and informed.

Identify process gaps or inefficiencies that may require resolution or refinement, keeping the candidate experience top of mind.

Engage Your Stakeholders

Build strong relationships with hiring teams and cross-functional partners while acting as an Abacus culture ambassador for external candidates

Escalate to TA leadership to coordinate advanced or nuanced role handling, align internal messaging, or to escalate search roadblocks.

Provide market insights on compensation, talent availability, and competitive landscape to inform hiring strategy

Contribute to Team Excellence

Ensure adherence to hiring compliance standards and structured interview practices

Support coordination with third-party vendors and external recruiting partners when required

Collaborate with the broader Talent Acquisition team, providing support, sharing insights, and assisting with escalations

Liaise with related HRBPs on internal candidates, equity reviews, and org design within their business groups.

Maintain an acute awareness of your activity metrics, weekly objectives, and search performance data to identify opportunities for personal and team improvement.

Ability to influence and guide hiring decisions while maintaining a collaborative approach

Aware of the compliance obligations present in a hiring process and knows how and when to escalate

Relationship-building skills with a focus on delivering strong candidate and hiring team experiences

Proficiency in recruiting tools and systems, including ATS and sourcing platforms

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with an empathetic mindset towards candidate and hiring team experience

Strong professional demeanor and composure regarding the personal or confidential information presented within or in context to a role search

Qualifications

Education: High School Diploma or equivalent (required). Four-year degree preferred in a business-oriented field (Human Resources, Marketing, Communications).

3–5 years of full-cycle recruiting experience, including ownership of high-volume requisition loads

Experience managing 10+ concurrent roles within an ATS environment

Technical recruiting exposure required (minimum 3 years supporting roles in IT, Cybersecurity, Systems, Software, or IT Professional Services)

IT MSP or Professional Services recruiting experience, preferred

Demonstrated experience supporting roles across varying levels of seniority (individual contributor through Manager, with growth toward Director-level searches)

Hands-on experience with recruiting and project management tools, including:

Greenhouse or other ATS (required)

LinkedIn Recruiter and job boards (Indeed, etc.) (required)

Monday.com or other pipeline and requisition tracking tool (preferred)

Availability: Ability/flexibility to work in the evening hours to collaborate with hiring managers who operate in a 24x7 environment.
