Your tasks
Job Overview We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting warehouse distribution operations, including order fulfillment, shipping and receiving, and heavy equipment operation. The ideal candidate will have prior warehouse experience, mechanical knowledge, and familiarity with warehouse management systems. This position offers opportunities to work with various types of heavy equipment such as forklifts, cranes, and reach trucks, contributing to efficient warehouse operations and ensuring timely delivery of products.
Responsibilities
- Operate heavy equipment including forklifts, reach trucks, cranes, and order pickers to load, unload, and move materials safely and efficiently
- Assist with order picking, packaging, and order fulfillment processes to ensure accurate and timely shipment of products
- Manage shipping and receiving activities by inspecting incoming and outgoing shipments for accuracy and quality
- Perform heavy lifting tasks as required while maintaining safety standards
- Support manufacturing processes by handling raw materials or finished goods as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety and efficiency
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals
Requirements
Requirements
- Prior warehouse experience is preferred; familiarity with warehouse distribution is a plus
- Mechanical knowledge or experience operating heavy equipment such as forklifts, reach trucks, cranes, or order pickers is highly desirable
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and repetitive physical tasks throughout the shift
- Knowledge of shipping & receiving procedures and order picking processes
- Strong understanding of safety protocols related to heavy equipment operation and warehouse environments
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced setting with attention to detail
- Construction or manufacturing experience is a plus but not required
