Head of Operations

Responsibilities:

Oversee the company's day-to-day operational activities. Develop and implement operational strategies that improve efficiency and productivity.

Manage inventory, warehousing, logistics, and distribution processes. Ensure accurate stock control, inventory reconciliation, and timely product availability.

Lead and supervise operational teams, ensuring high performance and accountability. Develop and improve operational processes, policies, and standard operating procedures.

Monitor operational KPIs and prepare performance reports for management.

Collaborate with sales, procurement, finance, and warehouse teams to ensure seamless operations.

Drive cost optimization while maintaining excellent service delivery.

Ensure compliance with company policies, health and safety regulations, and industry standards.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field. Minimum of 8 –10 years of operations experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.

Strong experience within the building materials, construction materials, manufacturing, distribution, or wholesale industry is highly preferred.

Proven experience managing inventory, warehouse operations, logistics, and supply chain processes.

Strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Excellent organizational and stakeholder management abilities.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP or inventory management systems is an added advantage.

Ability to work independently and hit the ground running with minimal supervision.

Remuneration: NGN 700,000 – 900,000 Monthly
