electrical apprentice

Vor-Tech Services Inc. is currently seeking a *4th or 5th Year Electrical Apprentice* to join our team.

We are looking for an experienced apprentice with a strong background in *commercial electrical work*. The successful candidate should be comfortable working independently as well as part of a crew, reading drawings, troubleshooting, and completing installations in a safe and professional manner.

*Location:* GTA and surrounding areas *Position:* Full-Time

Duties & Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain commercial, including lighting, panels, distribution equipment, devices, conduit, and wiring.
• Read and interpret electrical drawings, specifications, and other construction documents.
• Troubleshoot and test electrical systems and equipment.
• Work safely and efficiently while maintaining a high standard of workmanship.
• Coordinate with foreman, project managers, other trades, and site personnel as required.
• Assist and mentor junior apprentices when appropriate.
• Follow company and site-specific health and safety requirements.

Requirements

• Registered *4th or 5th Year Electrical Apprentice (309A)* in Ontario.
• Previous commercial and/or industrial electrical experience.
• Valid driver's licence with a clean driving record.
• Reliable transportation and ability to travel to job sites throughout the GTA and surrounding areas.
• Ability to read and understand electrical drawings.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Commitment to safe work practices and quality workmanship.

Schedule

• Monday to Friday.
• Overtime and occasional off-hours work may be available or required depending on project needs.

Pay: $29.00-$35.00 per hour
