ELECTRICAL ENGINEER
Your tasks
We are seeking a qualified and experienced Electrical Engineer to plan, design, implement, and supervise electrical engineering projects. The successful candidate will ensure that all electrical systems are safe, efficient, reliable, and compliant with relevant standards and regulations.
- Design, develop, and implement electrical systems for buildings, facilities, and engineering projects.
- Prepare electrical drawings, technical specifications, schematics, and project documentation.
- Plan, coordinate, and supervise electrical installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance activities.
- Monitor project progress, budgets, schedules, and resource allocation.
- Ensure compliance with applicable electrical safety standards, codes, and regulations.
- Conduct inspections, troubleshooting, and fault diagnosis to resolve electrical system issues.
- Coordinate with contractors, consultants, suppliers, and other engineering teams.
- Review technical proposals, equipment specifications, and material submissions.
- Identify opportunities to improve energy efficiency, system performance, and operational reliability.
- Prepare technical reports and provide engineering support throughout project execution.
Requirements
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
- Relevant experience in electrical engineering, design, installation, or project management.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, power distribution, wiring, and protection systems.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and technical specifications.
- Familiarity with electrical design software and engineering tools such as AutoCAD.
- Good understanding of electrical safety requirements and applicable industry standards.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication, coordination, and project management abilities.
- Able to work independently and collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.
- Relevant professional registration or certifications will be an advantage, where applicable.
