FP&A Manager

Position Overview:

We are looking for a finance professional with Workday Adaptive technical experience to join the FP&A team at Squarepoint, a leading quantitative investment manager. This is a hybrid role sitting at the intersection of finance and technology, requiring someone equally comfortable building financial models and business partnering with senior stakeholders as they are building models, hubs and integrations within Workday Adaptive Planning.

This is a hands-on role for someone who is passionate about FP&A, finance and business processes end to end, and technically capable of continuously improving and supporting a planning platform. Critically, we want someone who will hit the ground running, reviewing what has been built, identifying what can be better, and driving those improvements through to completion.

Your responsibilities will include:

Ongoing review and maintenance of Adaptive environment including models, integrations, data structures, reporting and security — identifying gaps and opportunities

Partner with finance and non-finance stakeholders to understand their needs and translate these into effective planning models and solutions

Work with stakeholders to source, load and validate forecast inputs, ensuring accuracy and timeliness within the planning system

Develop, maintain and reconcile data integrations between Adaptive and source systems

Use LLM tools and other technologies to drive efficiency and support problem-solving

Train and support end-users, and help mentor team members in Adaptive best practices

Maintain thorough documentation of processes, configurations and assumptions for audit and reference

What you need to succeed:

FP&A background with an understanding of financial modelling principles and finance processes

Hands-on Workday Adaptive Planning experience, including configuration of Integrations, Modelling, Reporting and Security, ideally including at least one implementation

Experience building and maintaining Adaptive data structures, models and integrations, including data reconciliation between Adaptive and source systems

A mindset of not just maintaining inherited models and systems but critically reviewing, improving and scaling them

Strong business partnering skills with the confidence to engage effectively at all levels, including with non-finance stakeholders

High attention to detail, a proactive work ethic and the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment

Familiarity with LLM tools and an openness to technology as an enabler

Experience mentoring colleagues in Adaptive
