Duties to include

  • Welcome guests in a friendly, professional, and approachable manner.
  • Take food and drink orders accurately and efficiently.
  • Prepare and serve pints, cocktails, wines, spirits, soft drinks, and food to a high standard.
  • Deliver food and beverages promptly while ensuring an excellent customer experience.
  • Maintain excellent product knowledge to confidently recommend drinks, menu items, and promotions.
  • Assist guests with menu recommendations and answer any queries.
  • Handle customer requests, feedback, and complaints professionally and efficiently.
  • Operate tills and process cash and card payments accurately.
  • Ensure the bar is fully stocked and prepared throughout service.
  • Monitor stock levels and report shortages to management.
  • Clear, clean, and reset tables to maintain a welcoming dining environment.
  • Maintain a clean, organised, and hygienic bar, restaurant, and back-of-house areas.
  • Assist with opening and closing duties, including setup and shutdown procedures.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver smooth and efficient service during busy periods.
  • Follow all health & safety, food hygiene, licensing, and responsible alcohol service regulations.
  • Support the wider team with general duties to ensure an outstanding guest experience at all times.

What you'll bring

  • Previous experience working in a bar, pub, restaurant, hotel, or hospitality venue.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
