Mechanical Technical Office Engineer

-Review project contract documents, drawings, BOQs, and specifications.

  • Prepare, review, and follow up on mechanical shop drawings with consultants.
  • Prepare RFIs and coordinate technical clarifications with project stakeholders.
  • Review subcontractors’ and vendors’ shop drawings to ensure compliance with project requirements.
  • Coordinate mechanical drawings with architectural, structural, and electrical disciplines.
  • Resolve technical issues arising during construction and support site execution.
  • Prepare accurate as-built drawings upon project completion.
  • Ensure compliance with project specifications, industry codes, and quality standards.
  • Maintain shop drawing logs and technical documentation.
  • Collaborate with the Technical Office Manager and project team to ensure timely project delivery.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • 2–3 years of experience in Mechanical Technical Office works within construction companies.
  • Good knowledge of HVAC, Fire Fighting, Plumbing, and Infrastructure systems.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD is a must.
  • Good knowledge of Revit MEP is preferred.
  • Experience in preparing and reviewing shop drawings, RFIs, BOQs, material submittals, and as-built drawings.
  • Familiarity with Egyptian Codes, ASHRAE, NFPA, and relevant international standards.
  • Good coordination skills with consultants, subcontractors, and other engineering disciplines.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.
