Customer Service Account Manager

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and Customer Account Manager to join a growing business within the food and beverage sector. Reporting to the Head of Division, you will act as a key contact for customer enquiries, manage a portfolio of client accounts, and support the delivery of high-quality products and services.
This role would suit someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys building strong relationships, and has a genuine passion for food and drink.
- Proactively manage and convert inbound business enquiries.
- Coordinate project briefs, sample requests, product quotations, and ensure deadlines are met.
- Manage customer accounts and oversee multiple projects simultaneously.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams and customers throughout the product development process.
- Act as the first point of contact for customer communications, handling enquiries via phone and email.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships.
- Keep up to date with food and beverage market trends, innovations, and consumer preferences.
- Maintain accurate records and customer information within internal systems.
The successful candidate will have:

- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- A professional, discreet, and trustworthy approach.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise effectively.
- A proactive and solution-focused mindset.
- Good numerical ability and confidence using CRM systems and Microsoft Office applications.
- The ability to manage multiple projects with varying priorities and timescales.
- Excellent attention to detail and record-keeping skills.
- A commitment to delivering exceptional customer service and high-quality outcomes.
- Ability to attend client sites, tradeshows regularly both domestically and in Europe
