The Role

We are currently recruiting for a Machine Operative to join a busy production environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating machinery safely and efficiently, ensuring production targets are met while maintaining high standards of quality.

This is a fast-paced role where you will need to work accurately, follow set processes and maintain a consistent level of productivity throughout your shift.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate production machinery safely and efficiently.
• Set up and load machinery as required.
• Monitor machines during production and report any issues or faults.
• Feed materials and components into machinery.
• Carry out quality checks on finished products.
• Work quickly and efficiently to achieve daily production targets.
• Follow production instructions and processes accurately.
• Maintain a clean and organised work area.
• Follow all health and safety procedures.
• Work as part of a busy production team.
• Complete basic paperwork and production records where required.

The Ideal Candidate

• Previous machine operating or production experience is desirable.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Able to work to targets and deadlines.
• Good attention to detail and quality.
• Reliable, punctual and hardworking.
• Able to follow instructions and established processes.
• Safety-conscious with a good understanding of workplace procedures.
• Comfortable carrying out repetitive tasks while maintaining a high standard of work.
