Production Supervisor – Plastic Injection

Your tasks

We are looking for a hands-on Production Supervisor to oversee daily plastic injection molding operations, ensure production targets are achieved, maintain product quality, and manage production manpower and machine performance in accordance with established standards.

1. Supervise daily plastic injection molding activities to ensure production targets, quality standards, and delivery schedules are met.
2. Monitor production output, machine performance, cycle time, and downtime, and report any deviations from targets.
3. Allocate manpower and work assignments according to daily production requirements.
4. Ensure operators follow established work instructions, process parameters, quality standards, and safety procedures.
5. Monitor product defects, scrap, and rework, and coordinate corrective actions with relevant departments.
6. Coordinate with Maintenance and Process Engineering to resolve machine and production process issues.
7. Maintain shop-floor discipline, 5S, and effective shift handovers.
8. Prepare daily production reports and communicate production progress and issues to the Production Manager.
9. Coordinate with PPIC, Quality, Maintenance, and Warehouse to support smooth production operations.
10. Support continuous improvement activities to improve productivity and reduce production losses.

Requirements

1. Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Management, Statistics, or a related field.
2. Minimum 3–5 years of experience in manufacturing or production operations.
3. Minimum 2 years of experience in a supervisory or team leadership role.
4. Experience in plastic injection molding processes is required.
5. Understanding of injection molding processes, common product defects, machine operation, cycle time, and changeover.
6. Familiar with production targets, manpower allocation, production reporting, and basic performance monitoring.
7. Good command of Bahasa Indonesia and English.
