Technician – Office Maintenance
Location: Paya Lebar Working Hours: 5.5-day work week - Weekdays: 2 rotating shifts, 8 hours per shift - Saturday: 4 hours Basic Salary: $3,000 – $3,100 Overtime: Fixed overtime rate applies
Job Summary
Responsible for the day-to-day maintenance and technical support of office facilities, ensuring building systems and equipment operate safely, reliably and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out preventive maintenance, routine inspections and assigned maintenance checklists
- Troubleshoot and attend to equipment and facility faults promptly to minimise downtime
- Identify defects, perform basic root-cause analysis and follow up on corrective actions
- Monitor equipment and asset conditions and maintain accurate maintenance records
- Support office events, deliveries and ad hoc facilities activities
- Coordinate and supervise vendors/contractors to ensure works are completed safely and according to requirements
- Conduct routine safety checks and comply with all safety procedures, PPE requirements and regulations
- Monitor maintenance inventory and assist with sourcing suppliers, quotations and repair supplies
- Manage work orders and provide timely updates to Facilities Management and relevant stakeholders
- Support process improvements and other ad hoc facilities duties as required
Requirements
- Certificate/qualification in HVAC, Building Maintenance, Electrical Engineering or related fields
- Knowledge of electrical systems, HVAC, plumbing and general building maintenance
- Familiarity with building layouts, electrical/HVAC drawings and CMMS is an advantage
- Basic to intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Good spoken and written skills
- Strong troubleshooting, communication and time management skills
- Safety-conscious, responsible and able to work independently and as part of a team
- Willing to work shifts, overtime and after-hours support when required
