Production Operative
Dukinfield (SK16)
People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Production Operative to join a busy client based in Dukinfield (SK16) .
This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced industrial environment, offering consistent hours and the opportunity to secure long-term work.
This is a temporary to permanent position for the right candidate.
This role would suit candidates who have previously worked as a Production Operative , Factory Operative or Machine Operative .
Rates of Pay:
£13.96 per hour
Shift Pattern:
As a Production Operative , you will work:
- Monday to Thursday
- 06:30 – 18:30

Day-to-Day Duties:
Your duties as a Production Operative will include:
This is a physically demanding and hands-on position within a production environment. Due to the nature of the manufacturing process, the role can be dirty and warm, so candidates must be comfortable working in an industrial setting.
- Operating and monitoring production machinery
- Loading raw materials into machines
- Removing finished products from production lines
- Heavy lifting of materials and products (up to 25kg)
- Trimming, inspecting and quality checking finished goods
- Bagging and milling products
- Keeping work areas clean and safe at all times
- Following strict health and safety procedures
- Working as part of a team to meet daily production targets
Essential Skills:
To be successful in this role as a Production Operative , you will need:
- To be comfortable lifting up to 25kg regularly
- Comfortable working in a dirty and warm industrial environment
- Excellent reliability and punctuality
- Strong work ethic
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts consistently
Desirable Experience:
- Previous production or manufacturing experience
- Experience in heavy industrial or factory-based roles
Training:
- Full training provided
- Ongoing support throughout your assignment
