Cost Accountant
The Costing Accountant will be responsible for tracking, analyzing, and controlling the cost structure of the production process, ensuring accuracy in reporting and contributing to financial decision-making. The following qualifications and experience are required for this role: Prepare and monitor standard costing for raw materials, labor, and overheads
Analyze production variances and report deviations
Prepare monthly cost reports and support closing activities
Coordinate with warehouse, procurement, and production departments to validate cost-related data
Support budgeting and forecasting activities related to manufacturing costs
Assist in inventory valuation and cost of goods sold (COGS) analysis
Ensure cost records are maintained in compliance with internal controls and company policies
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
3–5 years of experience in cost accounting, preferably in a manufacturing environment
Solid understanding of standard costing, variance analysis, and inventory valuation
Proficiency in Excel; ERP experience (Oracle) is a plus
Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
