Avionics Engineer / Specialist

Department: Engineering & Technical Services Employment Type: Full-Time Location: Nigeria Job Summary Mononia Aviation is recruiting an experienced Avionics Engineer to install, inspect, maintain, and troubleshoot aircraft electronic systems. The successful candidate will ensure avionics equipment operates safely and complies with aviation regulations. Key Responsibilities

Inspect, test, and maintain aircraft avionics systems. Troubleshoot communication, navigation, radar, and flight control systems. Install and configure avionics equipment when required. Interpret wiring diagrams and technical manuals. Perform system diagnostics and functional testing. Maintain accurate maintenance documentation. Ensure compliance with NCAA, ICAO, and manufacturer standards.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or HND in Avionics, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, or a related field. Relevant avionics maintenance certification is an advantage. Minimum of 3 years’ experience in aircraft avionics maintenance. Strong understanding of aircraft electrical and electronic systems. Experience using avionics diagnostic and testing equipment.

Preferred Skills

Excellent troubleshooting ability. Attention to detail and commitment to safety. Ability to work independently and within multidisciplinary teams.
