Social Worker - Multi-Agency Child Health

Our client is actively seeking a qualified and experienced Children's Social Worker to join their Multi-Agency Child Health (MACH) Team . This critical front-line safeguarding role operates as the multi-agency front door for children's services, working closely with partners to ensure children and families receive the right support at the right time.

As a Social Worker within the MACH Team, you will be responsible for the triage and screening of referrals, assessing risk, and making timely decisions to safeguard children. The role offers a unique opportunity to work in a co-located environment alongside Police, Health, and Education professionals, promoting effective information sharing and collaborative decision-making.

What You Will Be Doing

Screening and triaging contacts and referrals relating to children and families

Assessing levels of risk and determining appropriate safeguarding responses

Working collaboratively with partner agencies to share information and support decision-making

Progressing referrals promptly and ensuring appropriate allocation

Maintaining accurate case records, assessments, and reports

Identifying needs and ensuring timely interventions are put in place to safeguard children

We require you to have:

Social Work England registration. • Eligible to work in the UK. • Post-qualified experience within Children's Social Care. • Experience of safeguarding and assessment work. • Degree level or equivalent in Social Work.
