Sustainability Section Head

Develop and implement the company sustainability roadmap and strategy in alignment with the overall business objectives.

Establish sustainability objectives, KPIs, targets, and improvement plans across relevant functions.

Prepare, manage, and coordinate ESG and sustainability-related reports and disclosures.

Monitor and analyze key environmental performance indicators, including energy consumption, CO₂ emissions, recycling rates, waste generation, and water consumption.

Lead sustainability-related optimization and improvement initiatives across the organization.

Identify opportunities to reduce environmental impact, improve resource efficiency, and enhance sustainability performance across operations.

Ensure compliance with applicable environmental regulations, sustainability requirements, and relevant international standards.

Coordinate sustainability initiatives and action plans across different departments and ensure effective follow-up on implementation.

Support customer sustainability audits, assessments, questionnaires, and technical discussions related to sustainability and ESG requirements.

Coordinate the collection, validation, and consolidation of sustainability data from relevant departments.

Establish and maintain sustainability performance dashboards and reporting mechanisms.

Monitor progress against sustainability objectives and provide regular reports and recommendations to management.

Promote sustainability awareness and culture across the organization through communication, awareness, and engagement initiatives.

Identify sustainability risks and improvement opportunities and recommend appropriate mitigation or improvement actions.

Support the organization in responding to evolving customer, regulatory, and market sustainability requirements.

Lead cross-functional sustainability projects and ensure timely implementation of agreed initiatives.

Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Environmental Science, Sustainability Management, or a related field.

5–7 years of relevant experience in sustainability, environmental management, ESG reporting, operational excellence, manufacturing operations, or industrial environmental systems.

Experience within manufacturing or heavy industry is preferred.

Experience in the glass manufacturing industry is a strong advantage.

Good knowledge of ESG and sustainability reporting frameworks.

Strong understanding of environmental regulations and compliance requirements.

Experience with sustainability KPIs, data collection, and reporting systems.

Knowledge of energy optimization and environmental management systems.

Understanding of carbon footprint calculations and emissions management.

Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

Project management skills with the ability to lead cross-functional initiatives.
