Accountabilities: The Analytics & Research Senior Scientist is responsible for providing methodological expertise, advancing measurement strategies, and ensuring the quality and integrity of analytics solutions. This role requires a combination of research leadership, statistical knowledge, healthcare expertise, and the ability to translate complex findings into strategic recommendations.

Serve as the primary methodological expert for research programs, analytics initiatives, benchmarking frameworks, and measurement solutions.

Provide scientific guidance on survey design, measurement approaches, analytics methodologies, and research decisions.

Lead the development, evaluation, and continuous improvement of survey instruments and measurement frameworks.

Apply advanced expertise in survey methodology, questionnaire design, sampling, weighting, psychometrics, and bias mitigation.

Ensure the reliability, validity, comparability, and appropriate use of measurement programs through validation studies and methodological reviews.

Partner with Product, Engineering, Data Science, Operations, Client Support, Advisory, and leadership teams throughout product and analytics lifecycles.

Develop and govern benchmarking methodologies, quality standards, adjustment frameworks, and performance measurement practices.

Evaluate methodological changes and their impact on reporting accuracy, benchmark integrity, and stakeholder confidence.

Apply statistical and analytical techniques to identify performance drivers, trends, and opportunities for improvement.

Translate complex research findings into clear, actionable insights that support business decisions and healthcare improvements.

Lead validation studies, pilot programs, and innovation initiatives involving emerging technologies, AI-enabled capabilities, and alternative measurement approaches.

Establish evidence-based frameworks to assess the readiness and effectiveness of new methodologies.

Serve as a subject matter expert in healthcare experience measurement, patient-centered research, and analytics.

Develop thought leadership content, educational resources, and research materials that advance understanding of healthcare analytics and measurement science.

Represent the organization in client discussions, industry forums, and strategic conversations.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate is an experienced research and analytics professional with deep expertise in quantitative methodologies, healthcare measurement, and applied analytics. Success in this role requires strong scientific judgment, technical capabilities, and the ability to communicate complex concepts effectively with diverse stakeholders.

Ph.D. in Survey Methodology, Statistics, Psychometrics, Sociology, Psychology, quantitative social sciences, healthcare-related disciplines, or a related field.

7+ years of professional experience in survey research, analytics, measurement science, or related areas.

Advanced knowledge of survey methodology, questionnaire development, psychometric testing, sampling strategies, weighting techniques, and bias reduction methods.

Experience designing and applying research methodologies such as experimental designs, A/B testing, randomized controlled trials, qualitative research, and mixed-methods studies.

Proven ability to translate analytical findings into actionable recommendations that influence decisions and organizational improvement.

Strong understanding of benchmarking methodologies, measurement frameworks, and data governance principles.

Experience working with healthcare measurement, patient experience analytics, or regulatory survey programs is preferred.

Ability to evaluate emerging technologies, AI-enabled approaches, and innovative research methodologies.

Proficiency with analytical tools such as SPSS, R, Python, SQL, or equivalent platforms.

Strong communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build trust and influence senior audiences.

Ability to balance scientific rigor with practical business needs in complex, fast-moving environments.

Strong problem-solving skills, intellectual curiosity, and commitment to continuous learning.
