Education:
Other trades certificate or diploma. Electrician.
Work setting:
Construction. Installation. Maintenance. Willing to relocate. Repair. Service. Testing. Troubleshooting.
Tasks:
- Prepare production and other reports.
- Recommend measures to improve productivity .
- Resolve work problems, provide technical advice and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality.
- Supervise workers and projects.
- Co-ordinate and schedule activities.
- Ensure health and safety regulations are followed.
- Read blueprints and electrical schematics.
- Recommend personnel actions.
- Establish methods to meet work schedules and co-ordinate work activities with other work units.
Supervision:
Electricians. 3-4 people. 5-10 people. Apprentices. Labourers.
Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses :
Construction Electrician Red Seal Certificate.
Transportation/travel information:
Own vehicle. Valid driver's licence. Vehicle supplied by employer. Willing to travel.

Steel-toed safety boots. Safety glasses/goggles. Hard hat.
