Mechanical Design Engineer

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Design Engineer with strong experience in SolidWorks, mechanical design, and fabrication processes. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing mechanical components and assemblies, preparing manufacturing drawings, and supporting fabrication and production activities.

Key Responsibilities Create 3D models and detailed 2D manufacturing drawings using SolidWorks

Design mechanical systems, sheet metal parts, welded structures, and fabricated assemblies

Develop BOMs (Bill of Materials) and technical documentation

Coordinate with fabrication and production teams to ensure design manufacturability

Review and improve existing product designs for performance, cost, and manufacturability

Perform design calculations and tolerance analysis

Support prototype development, testing, and modifications

Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field

2–5 years of experience in mechanical design and fabrication

Proficiency in SolidWorks

Experience with sheet metal, machining, welding, and fabrication processes

Ability to read and create technical drawings and GD&T

Familiarity with manufacturing methods and materials
