This is the job In Argentina , within the Banking sector, we are actively seeking a Middle Java Backend Developer to strengthen our team dedicated to creating scalable, high-performance microservices and modernizing digital platform solutions. This is the team In your role, you'll become a vital member of a team of skilled professionals focused on evolving core banking architecture and delivering high-value, resilient digital services. Your primary responsibility will involve designing, developing, and maintaining microservices-based applications while ensuring high standards of code quality and scalability. This is you +2 years of proven experience in Java Backend development ( Java 8, Java 21, or higher ).

Solid hands-on experience with Spring Boot ( 2.x / 3.x ), Spring Web , Spring Data JPA , and Spring Security .

Strong knowledge of Microservices Architecture and REST API design/implementation.

Proficient with Git ( GitFlow , branching strategies , hotfixes ) and build tools like Maven .

Practical experience writing unit tests using JUnit and Mockito .

Experience working with both relational and non-relational databases .

Nice-to-have skills: Event-driven architecture and messaging technologies ( Apache Kafka, IBM MQ ).

Integrations with SOAP protocols and API documentation ( OpenAPI / Swagger ).

Containerization and orchestration tools ( Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift ).

Observability and monitoring platforms ( Grafana, Prometheus, ELK, Loki, AppDynamics ).

Hands-on experience with CI/CD practices ( Jenkins, GitHub Actions ) and Cloud environments .

Practical usage of AI-assisted tools ( GitHub Copilot, Cursor, ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude ) and Prompt Engineering to enhance productivity and code quality.

This is your role Analyze requirements and design scalable backend solutions aligned with business needs and architectural guidelines.

Develop, maintain, and evolve microservices-based applications and RESTful APIs.

Write clean, maintainable code applying SOLID principles, Clean Code practices, and design patterns.

Ensure software quality through unit testing, active participation in code reviews, and performance optimization.

Identify, analyze, and resolve incidents in production environments.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams across the full software development lifecycle (analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and support).
