Import Export Officer

Purpose: To manage and oversee day-to-day import and export operations, ensuring compliance with international trade regulations, AkzoNobel's policies, HSE&S, and delivery schedules.

Key responsibilities:

1. Shipment Planning and Execution:

• Schedule and track import/export shipments.
• Coordinate with freight forwarders and carriers.
• Coordinate with internal and external vendors, government bodies to apply for impex licenses at the earliest timeframe...
• Bachelor's degree of any discipline; preferred: International Business, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related discipline.
• 3–5 years in import/export operations or logistics.
• In-depth knowledge of customs clearance, HS codes, Incoterms, and trade documentation.
• Strong communication and interpersonal, stakeholder engagement, and planning skills.
• Able to read, interpret and translate legal documents into daily operational actions
