Manufacturing Shift-based Associate Supervisor
Job Responsibilities
Leadership and Management:
Lead and direct one of the rotating shifts, overseeing production activities and managing material logistics.
Material Ordering Management:
Ensure proper management and ordering of materials.
Production Progress Instruction:
Provide instructions and make adjustments based on production progress charts.
Production Status Reporting:
Monitor and report production status to department heads and supervisors.
Handling Schedule Changes:
Implement changes from production management and instruct your shift accordingly.
Progress Chart Management:
Create and update production progress charts.
Quality Issue Communication:
Receive and communicate quality issues with department heads, supervisors, and relevant departments.
Quality Issue Handling:
Coordinate the resolution of quality issues with related departments and guide on handling product issues.
Equipment Trouble Communication:
Report equipment troubles to LE, department heads, supervisors, and other relevant departments.
Equipment Trouble Handling:
Manage and arrange for the handling of equipment issues, and instruct on troubleshooting methods.
Attendance Management:
Monitor and report the attendance of subordinates, and adjust staffing within your shift.
Communication with Subordinates:
Ensure clear and thorough communication of information to team members.
Emergency Communication:
Follow the communication plan and contact relevant parties in case of emergencies.
Perform any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the Manager, as required to support the team and organizational goals.
Job Requirements
Professional Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent experience.
Previous experience in a similar role within a manufacturing department is advantageous.
Specialized Knowledge & Skills:
Proficient in using computers, including creating documents with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Competencies:
Capable of listening to multiple individuals and providing clear instructions.
Able to report issues and production progress effectively to supervisors.
Attributes:
Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential for interacting with multiple departments.
A cooperative personality is important for effective teamwork.
Others:
Ability to work in a shift system, including day shifts, night shifts, and scheduled days off as per the work schedule.
Capability to work in a cleanroom environment.
