Cyber Security Analyst

Responsibilities: 

Monitor the organization's systems, networks, and applications for security threats and vulnerabilities.

Investigate and respond to security incidents, ensuring timely resolution and reporting.

Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and recommend appropriate remediation measures.

Implement and maintain security controls, policies, and best practices to protect organizational assets.

Monitor security logs and alerts to identify suspicious activities and potential breaches.

Support security awareness initiatives by promoting cybersecurity best practices across the organization.

Prepare security reports, document incidents, and provide recommendations to strengthen the organization's cybersecurity posture.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree or HND in Cyber Security, Computer Science, or a related discipline. Professional certifications such as CompTIA Security+, Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), CISSP, or equivalent will be an added advantage. Minimum of 4 years of experience in cybersecurity, network security, or a related role. Experience within the sportsbooks, gaming, fintech, or technology industry is an added advantage. Strong knowledge of cybersecurity principles and information security frameworks. Proficiency in security monitoring, vulnerability assessment, and incident response. Knowledge of network security, firewalls, endpoint protection, and access control. Strong analytical, investigative, and problem-solvingskills. Proficiency in cybersecurity tools and Microsoft Office applications.
