Job objective
To lead and oversee all installation engineering activities for ADNOC projects, ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant execution of offshore and onshore installation works. The role is responsible for providing technical leadership, validating contractor methodologies, and ensuring all installation operations are executed in accordance with project specifications, international standards, and ADNOC requirements.
Lead and manage installation engineering activities covering offshore and onshore scopes including structural, piping, subsea, and equipment installation
Review and approve contractor installation procedures, method statements, lifting plans, rigging studies, and marine spread documentation
Ensure all installation activities are planned and executed in compliance with ADNOC standards, project specifications, and HSE requirements
Provide technical assurance and guidance during engineering, procurement, and construction phases to ensure constructability and installation feasibility
Coordinate closely with multidisciplinary teams including engineering, marine, logistics, and construction to ensure seamless project execution
Oversee offshore installation campaigns including heavy lifts, loadouts, transportation, and hook-up activities
Monitor contractor performance, identify risks or deviations, and implement corrective actions to maintain schedule, safety, and quality objectives
Ensure proper interface management between fabrication yards, marine operations, and offshore installation teams
Participate in design reviews, HAZIDs, HAZOPs, constructability reviews, and risk assessments related to installation activities
Verify readiness of installation vessels, equipment, and personnel prior to execution of offshore campaigns
Ensure accurate reporting, documentation, and close-out of installation activities including as-built records
Provide leadership, mentorship, and technical support to installation engineering teams

Expected:
Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, civil, structural, or offshore engineering or a related discipline
Minimum 15 years of experience in installation engineering within the oil and gas industry, with significant exposure to offshore projects
Proven experience in a lead role within PMC or EPC environments, preferably on ADNOC projects
Strong knowledge of offshore installation methodologies including heavy lifting, transportation, loadout, subsea installation, and hook-up and commissioning support
Familiarity with international standards and guidelines such as DNV, ISO, and API related to offshore installation
Experience working with installation vessels, barges, cranes, and marine operations
Strong understanding of constructability, risk management, and interface coordination in complex projects
Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
Demonstrated commitment to HSE and quality standards in high-risk offshore environments
Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and deliver results within tight project schedules
