Requirements Minimum 5 years’ experience in industrial or product design. Transportation design experience is a plus Minimum BFA/BA degree required Proficient with 3D design tools such as Alias and 2D design/visualization tools such as Adobe Creative Suite Team leader or supervisory experience is a merit

The Chief Designer role, reporting to the Design Director of Volvo CE, manages a variety of projects, responsible for leading a team of designers driving the design process, planning and managing projects content. You are accountable for the design deliveries of several global machine ranges for Volvo Construction Equipment, in line with the Brand’s strategies. Projects extend to a large width of categories, from commercial products to concept development, including cutting edge technologies, such as electromobility and automation.

In this position you will report to the Design Director Volvo CE, and be located in Gothenburg, Sweden. You will also be part of Volvo Group Product Design.
