Construction Supervisor
Roles & Responsibilities:
Project Management: Planning, organizing, and controlling construction projects from start to finish.
Team Leadership: Supervising and coordinating the work of construction crews, subcontractors, and other staff.
Safety Management: Ensuring a safe work environment by implementing and enforcing safety regulations and procedures .
Quality Control: Monitoring work progress and ensuring that it meets quality standards and project specifications.
Communication: Effectively communicating with project managers, clients, subcontractors, and other relevant parties .
Scheduling: Developing and managing construction schedules, ensuring timely completion of tasks.
Resource Management : Overseeing the allocation and use of resources, including materials and equipment.
Problem Solving: Identifying and addressing any issues or challenges that arise during the construction process.
Documentation: Maintaining accurate records of daily activities, progress reports, and other relevant documentation .
Training and Mentoring: Providing guidance and support to construction workers, including training on safety procedures and best practices .
Budget Management: Monitoring project costs and ensuring adherence to the allocated budget.
Requirements
Education: Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or a related field
Construction Knowledge : In-depth understanding of construction methods, materials, and safety regulations .
Leadership Skills : Ability to motivate and manage a team effectively .
Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills .
Problem-Solving Skills : Ability to identify and resolve issues efficiently .
Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively .
Technical Skills: Familiarity with construction plans, blueprints, and specifications.
