Position - Account Manager VCL Vintners, based in London Bridge, operates within the global market for fine spirits, advising private clients on the acquisition and management of rare cask assets. With a track record approaching two decades, the firm has developed long-standing relationships across the supply chain, working with distilleries and partners domestic and internationally, specialising in sourcing, trading, and managing premium whisky casks. From our offices in The Shard, VCL oversees more than £150m in client holdings, acting for a global client base with a focus on provenance, access, and long-term value. The Position As an Account Manager at VCL Vintners, you will be an integral part of our sales team, responsible for creating, managing and nurturing relationships with our valued clients. This is a front-office role, focused on working with inbound clients and existing relationships, advising on acquisitions within a niche, supply-constrained asset class, providing expert advice and introducing new investment opportunities. The work is consultative and long-term in nature. It requires judgement, composure, and the ability to communicate with clarity in a high-trust environment. Responsibilities Develop and manage relationships with private clients Advise on the acquisition of investment-grade spirits casks Present opportunities with structure, context, and commercial rationale Oversee the progression from initial enquiry through to portfolio development Maintain high standards of communication and record management Remain informed on both market dynamics and underlying asset behaviour to provide up-to-date insights to clients Skills & Qualifications Experience in sales, brokerage, or a client-facing commercial role Evidence of revenue generation and client relationship management Composed communication style and professional presence Commercial awareness and interest in alternative or tangible assets Self-directed, disciplined, and comfortable operating with autonomy Package Competitive basic salary of £28,000 – £32,000, plus an uncapped commission structure based on performance Expected OTE: £60,000 – £80,000+ This is a fully office-based role, based in The Shard, London Bridge Full product training and ongoing professional development.
