Performance and Flight Planning Officer

DAT is looking for a new Performance and Flight Planning Officer, based in Kaunas, Lithuania.

Key Responsibilities:

Determine the most suitable routing considering safety, national and international regulations, meteorological conditions, airspace capacity, passenger comfort, flight schedule and airline needs. Aircraft performance calculations. Calculate and evaluate commercial aspects such as fuel consumption, overflight charges, aircraft limitations, etc. File ATC flight plans and provide crew with OFP and other relevant documentation. Keep flight planning and performance systems updated. Support crew on EFB related questions. Keep company FMS database updated. Optimize company routes. Be comfortable with decision making under pressure. Work in shifts (06:30-15:00 and 14:30-23:00)

Requirements:

English skills both written and oral, minimum level is B2. Structured, analytical, and able to meet deadlines. Team and service oriented. Flexible with duties. Proficient with MS Office and comfortable learning new IT platforms. Workplace at Kaunas Airport. Aviation background would be considered an advantage.
