The role

We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Legal Operations & Compliance Analyst to join our Legal team in London. This role will report to the SVP – Legal. The role is based in London and involves working with stakeholders across the globe, particularly in the UK, Europe and the US.

This is a newly created role that will play an important part in supporting the Legal team’s operational efficiency, technology strategy and compliance activities. The Legal team is implementing a number of legal technology solutions, including a Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) platform, inbox/workflow management tools and privacy/compliance systems, to improve how the team delivers legal support and generates data-driven insights.

The Senior Legal Operations & Compliance Analyst will help drive the implementation, optimisation and day-to-day management of these tools and processes. The role will also support key compliance activities across the Group, including vendor risk management, privacy operations, training and legal process improvement. This role is well suited to someone who is highly organised, technology-enabled, analytically minded and interested in improving how legal teams operate at scale.

How you will contribute:

Support the implementation, administration and optimisation of legal technology platforms, including CLM, legal intake/workflow management and privacy/compliance tools.

Act as a key point of contact for Legal team systems, including user support, troubleshooting, training coordination and process documentation.

Help drive operational efficiency initiatives across the Legal team, including AI tools, workflow automation, template management, reporting and knowledge management.

Develop and maintain dashboards, reporting and analytics relating to Legal team activity, contract workflows, matter tracking and compliance metrics.

Support vendor risk management and compliance processes, including reviewing and coordinating responses to vendor risk assessments and security/privacy questionnaires.

Assist with data privacy compliance activities, including maintaining records of processing activities (ROPAs), coordinating privacy training and supporting responses to internal privacy-related queries.

Assist with legal and compliance training programmes and awareness initiatives across the business.

Coordinate with Procurement, IT, Security, Privacy and other business teams on legal operations and compliance initiatives.

Keep up to date with developments in legal operations, legal technology and compliance best practices and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.

Who you are

Experience in a legal operations, compliance operations, contract management, legal technology or similar operational role, ideally within an in-house legal team or professional services environment

Experience working with legal technology platforms such as CLM systems, workflow tools, document management systems or privacy/compliance software

Strong organisational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders simultaneously

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with an interest in data, reporting and process improvement

Ability to collaborate effectively across Legal, Technology, Procurement, Privacy, Security and wider business teams

Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain processes and systems clearly to non-technical stakeholders

Ability to translate complex operational, legal and systems information into clear, accessible summaries, dashboards and visual materials for stakeholders of varying seniority.

High attention to detail and a proactive, solutions-focused mindset

Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment and supporting change management initiatives

Experience supporting privacy or compliance processes (including GDPR-related activities) would be beneficial

Experience with reporting, dashboards or data analysis tools would be an advantage

Positive “can do” attitude and a willingness to learn and develop in a growing legal operations function
