Teacher and Curriculum Writer

Role Overview

We are looking for a passionate, well-prepared full-time teacher to teach Secondary English and JC General Paper, and to help write our JC1 General Paper curriculum. You will receive structured training in curriculum writing and teaching from our academic lead, so fresh graduates with the right attitude are welcome to apply.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach regular weekly Secondary English and JC General Paper classes, including Saturdays and one weekday evening
• Prepare lessons, mark work and hold student consultations
• Update parents on student progress and maintain class communication channels
• Track attendance and collate student results and reports
• Write four JC1 General Paper lessons per month, plus occasional Current Affairs materials
• Attend the Monday team meeting and curriculum training sessions
• Provide cover teaching on scheduled days

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree
• Strong command of English, with the ability to teach essay writing, argumentation and current affairs
• Able to write clear, engaging lesson materials
• Positive, enthusiastic and committed to students’ growth
• Able to commit to the full academic year
• Open to candidates at all experience levels
• Teaching or tutoring experience is an advantage
