Key Responsibilities
- 3D Modeling: Develop detailed 3D models of structural steel components using Tekla Structures.
- Shop & Fabrication Drawings: Prepare shop drawings, assembly drawings, and erection plans for fabrication and site installation.
- Coordination: Collaborate with engineers, architects, and project managers to ensure accuracy and compliance with project specifications.
- Documentation: Generate bills of materials (BOM), material take-offs, and reports to support procurement and fabrication.
- Quality Assurance: Review and interpret architectural/structural drawings to ensure compliance with codes and standards.
- Issue Resolution: Communicate with fabricators and erectors to resolve discrepancies during production or construction. Requirements:
Proven experience in drafting steel and metal structures Strong proficiency in 2D/3D design software , Autocad and Tekla Excellent attention to detail and accuracy Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
