Key Responsibilities
MEP Schedule & Logic Development:
- Develop and maintain master MEP project baseline schedules, detailed installation programs, and 3-week look-ahead plans using Primavera P6 or MS Project.
- Define detailed logic paths for combined services drawings (CSD) / BIM coordination, shop drawing submissions, authority clearances, procurement lead times, on-site installation, and Testing & Commissioning (T&C).
Progress Tracking &Interface Management:
- Track day-to-day MEP progress, structural/architectural handover dates, and equipment delivery lead times.
- Prepare progress S-curves, manpower loading charts, and monthly progress reports for project leadership and client submission.
- Identify MEP sequence conflicts and critical path delays early; propose mitigation, recovery plans, and fast-tracking strategies.
Coordination & Site Monitoring:
- Work closely with MEP Project Engineers, BIM Coordinators, and Subcontractors to ensure site progress matches scheduled baselines.
- Coordinate handover milestones between MEP installation, energized power connection, and final T&C phase.
Variation& Delay Documentation:
- Maintain comprehensive site logs of design changes, access delays, and site variations to support Extension of Time (EOT) justification.
Job Requirements
- Education: Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Building Services, or equivalent.
- Experience: 3 to 4 years of proven planning experience handling MEP / M&E works in Singapore engineering/construction projects.
Technical Proficiency:
- Hands-on proficiency with Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project .
- Strong technical understanding of MEP system workflows (HVAC, Electrical, Fire Protection, Plumbing & Sanitary, BMS).
- Familiarity with Singapore building regulations (BCA, PUB, EMA, SCDF) and standard T&C timelines.
Soft kills:
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and interface management skills to bridge main contractor and subcontractor teams.
