Job Title: Senior Technologist, Regional Systems

Competition #: SW-16-2026 Location: La Ronge Salary: $37.58 to $46.96 (Pay Grade 9)

As the Senior Technologist, Regional Systems, you will undertake operation and maintenance work within an assigned regional water and wastewater system. The regional water and wastewater system may include SaskWater or client owned water treatment, wastewater treatment, water distribution, water transmission, wastewater collection and open canal conveyance and/or reservoir systems.

To qualify, you will have:

• Diploma in Water Resources Engineering Technology or similar technical discipline
• eligibility for certification as a Professional Technologist (P.Tech)
• a valid Class 5 Drivers License

Certification at the appropriate levels in Water Treatment, Water Distribution, Wastewater Collection and Wastewater Treatment must, at a minimum, meet the facility level of certification for the district. In addition to the above qualifications, the job requires 4 years of progressively more responsible experience.

Special Requirements:

The position requires the incumbent to undergo a Criminal Record Check and Drug and Alcohol test. You must be legally entitled to work in Canada. A valid Saskatchewan drivers license is required.
