A growing mid-tier firm is looking for a part-qualified Accounts & Outsourcing Senior to join its London team. This is a broad, client-facing position combining accounting, outsourced business support, data analytics and commercial insight.

Your tasks

You will work with an established portfolio of businesses, take responsibility for assignments from planning through to completion and develop the skills needed to become a trusted adviser—not simply someone who produces the numbers.

As anAccounts & Outsourcing Senioryou will

• Take ownership of accounting and business advisory assignments from initial planning through to final delivery.
• Build strong relationships with clients and develop a detailed understanding of their businesses.
• Attend client meetings and communicate directly with finance teams and senior stakeholders.
• Coordinate work across the team, ensuring assignments are delivered accurately, on time and within budget.
• Use data analytics and modern accounting technology to improve reporting and provide meaningful insight.
• Identify potential issues early and recommend practical solutions.
• Recognise opportunities where the wider firm could provide additional support.
• Help junior colleagues develop while continuing to expand your own technical and commercial experience.

This is a varied position with considerably more client contact and ownership than a traditional processing role. You will be encouraged to challenge existing methods, find efficiencies and contribute ideas as the team continues to grow.

Requirements

As an Accounts & Outsourcing Senior you will bring:

You will be part-qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA, with relevant experience gained in accountancy practice, outsourcing or a client accounting environment.

• A proactive approach and the confidence to take responsibility for your work.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing deadlines.
• Good communication skills and an interest in building client relationships.
• Confidence using Excel and accounting systems.
• An interest in technology, data analytics and improving processes.
• The ambition to qualify and progress within a growing professional firm.

Experience using SAP would be helpful but is not essential.
