Transport Coordinator

Transport & Operations Coordinator Annual Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 Location: Woolpit IP30 Job Type: Full-time We are seeking a dedicated Transport & Operations Coordinator to join our team. This role involves managing logistics and operations to ensure efficient transportation and distribution of goods. Day-to-day of the role: Coordinate and monitor supply chain operations. Ensure premises, assets, and communications are used effectively. Utilize logistics IT systems to optimize procedures. Recruit and coordinate logistics staff according to availability and requirements. Supervise orders and arrange stocking of raw materials and equipment. Ensure the safe and timely pick-up and delivery of shipments. Monitor the status of the transportation of goods, ensuring they are delivered on time. Resolve any arising problems or complaints related to transportation efficiently. Supervise, coach, and train the workforce. Meet cost, productivity, accuracy, and timeliness targets. Comply with laws, regulations, and ISO requirements. Required Skills & Qualifications: Proven experience as a Transport & Operations Coordinator or a similar role. Experience in customer service will be appreciated. Ability to work with little supervision and track multiple processes. Outstanding organizational and coordination abilities.
