Location: East Midlands (Nottingham / Derby / Leicester) Rate: £23.32 per hour (Umbrella) Contract: 3 Months Temp to Perm Hours: Monday – Friday, 08:00 – 16:30 (30 mins unpaid lunch)
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Roofer to join a well-established team working within the social housing sector across the East Midlands. This is an excellent opportunity offering a temp-to-perm pathway with a reputable organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Carrying out roofing repairs and maintenance within social housing properties
- Undertaking associated trade tasks as required
- Ensuring work is completed to a high standard and in line with health & safety regulations
- Delivering excellent customer service while working in occupied properties
Essential Requirements
- NVQ Level 2 in Roofing (or equivalent)
- Asbestos Awareness Certificate
- Proven experience in social housing repairs
- Valid CSCS Card (relevant to trade)
- Ability to carry out multi-trade/associated tasks
- Full UK manual driving licence
- Must be based within or able to cover Nottingham / Derby / Leicester areas
Desirable Skills
- Abrasive Wheels Training
- PASMA Qualification
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings
- Additional experience within social housing environments
