1. Photonics R&D Engineer

Salary Range: SGD 9,000 – 14,000/month (base); Senior/Staff level up to SGD 16,000/month

Job Description: Our client, a growing technology manufacturer in the advanced electronics sector, is looking for a Photonics R&D Engineer to support the development of next-generation optical component technologies.

Responsibilities:

• Design, simulate, and characterize photonic components and integrated circuits
• Work with manufacturing partners on process development and product qualification
• Develop test methodologies for optical device characterization
• Collaborate cross-functionally with packaging, process, and systems engineering teams
• Document design rules and manufacturing specifications

Requirements:

• Bachelor's/Master's/PhD in Electrical Engineering, Photonics, Physics, Materials Science, or related field
• 3+ years hands-on experience in photonics design, integration, or process engineering
• Familiarity with photonics simulation and layout tools
• Experience working with external manufacturing/foundry partners is a plus
• Strong analytical and cross-functional communication skills
