Senior Performance Engineer - Banking (Can Join Immediately)

Location: Tangerang Selatan - Full WFO

Technical Requirements (Tech Stack)

1. Performance Testing Tools

• Expertise in JMeter: Advanced scripting, custom samplers, and Groovy/BeanShell scripting.
• Expertise in LoadRunner: Proficiency in Web HTTP/HTML, TruClient, and Web Services protocols.
• K6 or Gatling: (Optional/Plus) Experience with modern "as-code" performance tools.

1. Observability & Monitoring

• APM Tools: Hands-on experience with Dynatrace, New Relic, or AppDynamics to monitor transaction snapshots and code-level hotspots.
• Infrastructure: Ability to analyze metrics in Prometheus & Grafana.
• Log Management: Proficiency in searching and visualizing logs via ELK Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana) or Splunk.

1. Systems & Infrastructure

• Architecture: Deep understanding of Microservices, Load Balancers (NGINX/F5), and Caching layers (Redis).
• Cloud & Containers: Familiarity with Docker & Kubernetes (K8s) monitoring (pod health, resource limits).
• Databases: Ability to identify slow queries and understand indexing in PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Oracle.

• Workload Modeling: Analyze production usage patterns (via Google Analytics or logs) to create realistic performance test scenarios.
• End-to-End Testing: Design and execute Load, Stress, Endurance, and Scalability tests.
• Bottleneck Diagnosis: Analyze Thread Dumps, Heap Dumps, and Garbage Collection (GC) behavior to identify memory leaks or locking issues.
• Shift-Left Performance: Integrate performance tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab, or Azure DevOps) for automated performance gating.
• Capacity Planning: Provide recommendations on hardware/cloud resource scaling based on test results.

Soft Skills & Qualifications

• Analytical Mindset: You don't just report "the system is slow"; you find out which line of code or which database query is the culprit.
• Communication: Ability to explain complex technical bottlenecks to non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience: 3+ years in Performance Testing/Engineering or Software Development.
