Personnel to be deployed at the following hours:
- Mondays to Fridays: 7.00am to 4.00pm, inclusive of ½ hr lunch break
- Service not required on Saturdays, Sundays and gazetted public holidays
Requirements: The Personnel shall minimally have the following qualifications and technical skills:
Qualifications (minimum one of the following)
- Diploma holder in one of the local polytechnics; or
- ITE graduate (or that of Higher Nitec)
Technical Skills (all are required)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
- Proficient in Google Workspace and Gmail
- Able to take photographs and videos using a DSLR camera
- Basic knowledge of audio mixing consoles, wireless microphone setups, and HDMI projection systems
The Personnel should also possess the following soft skills and preferably 1 year or more relevant experience in school or ICT related environment. Soft Skills
- High attention to detail — particularly important for web publishing tasks
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to work calmly under pressure during live school events
Job Scopes: You will support the day-to-day ICT operations of Concord Primary School. On-the-job training will be provided to help you get started with the school's systems and processes. The Services required are set out as follows:
- IT Device Management
Manage the daily scheduling of ICT resources using the school's Resource Booking System (RBS) and assist in managing the loan of school ICT devices (e.g., iPads) to teachers and classes, working closely with the ICT Manager to ensure smooth day-to-day operations. This includes verifying the identity of borrowers, recording loan transactions via FormSG, and ensuring all devices are fully accounted for at all times.
Liaise with the Mobile Device Management (MDM) vendor to facilitate basic software updates, verify that required learning applications are installed, and carry out routine device checks covering battery condition, screen integrity, and connectivity.
- Website Management (Editor Role)
Upload and publish school content including announcements, circulars, newsletters, and photo galleries onto the school's official website using the Isomer Next platform. All materials must be accurately uploaded, consistently formatted, and published in a timely manner in accordance with the school's publishing schedule. Please note: All content is prepared by the Publications staff. This role is limited to content management and does not involve content creation.
- School Event Photography and Videography
Provide photography and videography coverage for assigned school events, capturing quality photos and videos in line with the school's visual and branding guidelines. Responsibilities include basic post-production editing (e.g., cropping and trimming), as well as organising and archiving materials for school use. All work must comply with the school's data management guidelines governing the use of student and staff images.
- e-Broadcast Management
Upload and disseminate e-Broadcast materials for internal and external school communications, ensuring content is accurately uploaded, appropriately scheduled, and sent in a timely manner. You will verify successful broadcast delivery and promptly escalate any technical issues to the ICT Manager. Please note: All content is prepared by the relevant teachers or staff. This role is limited to broadcast management and does not involve content creation.
- ICT Inventory Management
Assist in maintaining an accurate and up-to-date inventory of school ICT assets, including iPads and AV accessories. This includes recording details such as serial numbers, asset tags, condition, and custodian information. You will conduct periodic stock checks to reconcile inventory records against physical assets, and promptly report any discrepancies, missing items, or damage to the ICT Manager.
- Assist with Audio-Visual (AV) Support
Provide ad-hoc AV setup and operational support for school presentations and events. This includes the set-up and operation of sound systems, wireless microphones, projectors, and display screens. You are expected to ensure all AV equipment is properly tested before use, and returned, stored, and accounted for upon conclusion of each event.
