UX/UI Designer - 1077 (Moscow, ID)

Lightcast is seeking an early-career UX/UI Designer to support the design and improvement of our digital experiences, primarily our corporate website. This is an excellent opportunity for someone starting a career in UX/UI, or digital design. The successful candidate will work closely with experienced professionals across marketing, product, engineering, and content to create intuitive, engaging, and accessible online experiences.

You do not need to meet every qualification listed below to be considered. We welcome applications from recent graduates, career starters, interns, and candidates whose experience comes from coursework, student projects, freelance work, volunteer projects, or personal design work. In this role, you will receive guidance and mentorship while developing your skills in user experience, visual design, responsive web design, design systems, accessibility, and digital content management.

Major Responsibilities: Support the design of Lightcast’s website and other digital experiences under the guidance of experienced team members.

Create wireframes, user flows, page layouts, mockups, and polished visual designs in Figma.

Help develop and maintain reusable page templates and design components.

Collaborate with marketing, product, engineering, and content teams to understand user needs and business goals.

Participate in design reviews, user feedback sessions, and collaborative problem-solving.

Work with the web development team during implementation to help ensure designs are usable, responsive, accessible, and technically feasible.

Help identify opportunities to improve website usability, accessibility, performance, and consistency.

Learn to use analytics, customer insights, research, and testing to inform design decisions.

Help organize project details, track feedback, and communicate updates across multiple initiatives.

Contribute to design processes and documentation as your skills and experience grow.

Education and Experience A degree, certificate, bootcamp, or relevant coursework in UX/UI design, graphic design, interaction design, human-computer interaction, digital media, or a related field is helpful but not required.

0–2 years of experience in UX/UI design, digital design, web design, or a related discipline.

Relevant internships, academic projects, freelance work, volunteer work, and personal projects are welcome.

A portfolio demonstrating your design process. This may include school projects, personal projects, internships, freelance work, or professional experience.

Basic to intermediate proficiency in Figma or a comparable design tool.

An interest in responsive web design, design systems, interaction design, and accessibility.

Strong visual, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Willingness to learn modern CMS platforms and digital design tools.

Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Good organization and attention to detail.

Curiosity, openness to feedback, and a willingness to grow as a designer.

Experience with CMS platforms, analytics, user research, A/B testing, animation, or web development is helpful but not required.
