Senior Analytics Consultant (Power BI)

Accountabilities: The Senior Analytics Consultant will lead analytics consulting engagements by designing, developing, and optimizing data visualization solutions that help clients maximize the value of their data. The role requires strong technical capabilities, customer-facing expertise, and the ability to translate business needs into effective analytics strategies.

Deliver consulting projects focused on analytics enablement, data visualization, reporting, and data-driven solutions.

Work directly with clients to understand business requirements, define analytical needs, and develop effective solutions.

Create interactive dashboards, reports, and visualization solutions using Power BI.

Lead client working sessions, provide project updates, and proactively gather stakeholder feedback.

Manage client expectations while ensuring successful project delivery and strong customer relationships.

Analyze, troubleshoot, and optimize reporting solutions, platform performance, and deployment issues.

Support backlog management, development activities, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Recommend best practices for data models, reporting structures, and analytics platform architecture.

Identify opportunities to enhance functionality and improve user adoption of analytics solutions.

Collaborate with technical teams to deliver scalable and efficient data solutions.

Apply data visualization principles to communicate insights clearly to business users.

Support enterprise analytics initiatives and help clients achieve measurable value from their data investments.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate is an experienced analytics consultant with strong Power BI expertise, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work with enterprise customers. You should combine technical knowledge with business acumen and enjoy solving complex data challenges.

5–7 years of overall experience in data analysis and visualization.

3+ years of experience working with enterprise analytics and data visualization platforms.

Strong expertise in Power BI development, including dashboard creation, reporting, and visualization best practices.

Experience preparing and transforming data using Alteryx, KNIME, or similar data preparation tools.

Strong SQL knowledge with experience working with data warehouses, data marts, and data models.

Experience with Snowflake environments is preferred.

Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into effective analytical solutions.

Strong data fluency and ability to communicate insights clearly to business stakeholders.

Exceptional customer-facing skills with strong communication and project management abilities.

Strong problem-solving skills and enthusiasm for learning new technologies and methodologies.

Consulting experience is preferred.

Experience with Power Automate, Power Apps, or Power Virtual Agents is a plus.

Experience administering Power BI Service, including security roles and platform setup, is beneficial.

Previous experience scaling Power BI solutions at an enterprise level is preferred.

Experience leading teams of consultants or supporting project delivery teams is an advantage.
