Salesforce Senior Developer
Accountabilities: The role will be responsible for leading the technical design, development, and delivery of advanced Salesforce solutions while ensuring quality, scalability, and alignment with business objectives. Key responsibilities include:
Serving as a technical lead for Salesforce engagements, coordinating the work of architects, developers, consultants, and project teams to ensure successful delivery.
Designing, developing, configuring, and customizing Salesforce solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components, Visualforce, and Salesforce APIs.
Translating business requirements into scalable technical architectures and innovative Salesforce-based solutions.
Providing technical guidance on Salesforce platform capabilities, new features, best practices, and solution approaches.
Designing and implementing enterprise integration architectures involving Salesforce, Snowflake, middleware platforms, and cloud-based applications.
Collaborating with data engineering and analytics teams to define data models, integration patterns, security requirements, and governance standards.
Leading development governance activities, ensuring code quality, performance optimization, security compliance, and adherence to architectural standards.
Supporting data migration, system integrations, automation, and deployment activities using modern development practices and CI/CD processes.
Creating technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, technical specifications, development guidelines, and test plans.
Troubleshooting complex production issues, performing root cause analysis, and implementing reliable solutions.
Mentoring team members and promoting continuous improvement across technical practices and delivery processes.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate will have extensive Salesforce development and architecture experience, with strong technical expertise and the ability to collaborate effectively with business and technical stakeholders. Required qualifications and skills include:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
5+ years of hands-on experience in Salesforce development, architecture, and consulting roles.
Deep expertise in Salesforce development technologies, including Apex, Lightning Web Components, Visualforce, Salesforce APIs, and platform customization.
Strong experience designing Salesforce integrations with external systems using REST/SOAP APIs, middleware solutions, and data migration tools.
Experience working with enterprise cloud data platforms such as Snowflake, including data modeling, SQL development, data transformation, synchronization, and reporting use cases.
Strong understanding of data architecture concepts, including data warehousing, ETL/ELT processes, data governance, and security best practices.
Proven experience with Salesforce platform architecture, large data volumes, performance optimization, and scalable solution design.
Experience working with Agile/Scrum delivery teams, automation tools, build processes, and version control systems.
Ability to connect business processes with technical implementations and communicate complex concepts clearly to diverse audiences.
Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to independently manage complex technical challenges.
Experience coaching, mentoring, and influencing both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Salesforce certifications such as Salesforce Architect certifications, Platform Developer I/II, Platform App Builder, or relevant cloud certifications are preferred.
Familiarity with modern cloud and integration ecosystems such as MuleSoft, Boomi, Databricks, or similar technologies is an advantage.
