Accountabilities: The Risk Operations Analyst will be responsible for managing operational risk workflows, assessing potential risks, and supporting the development of scalable processes that strengthen compliance and partner relationships. This role requires strong judgment, analytical capabilities, and the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

Evaluate businesses and merchants by assessing suitability, operational risks, and compliance considerations.

Review and manage workflows related to regulatory, contractual, and partner risk requirements.

Apply established policies and procedures while identifying opportunities to improve processes and operational efficiency.

Analyze risk trends and provide insights to enhance detection systems, tools, and mitigation strategies.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify process gaps and recommend improvements.

Support projects focused on optimizing risk assessment strategies, operational workflows, and internal tools.

Communicate clearly with internal teams, customers, and financial partners regarding risk-related decisions and recommendations.

Help scale operational processes while maintaining service quality, compliance standards, and risk controls.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate brings experience in risk management, compliance, or operations within a dynamic environment, along with strong analytical and communication skills. The role requires someone who can manage ambiguity, challenge existing approaches, and develop practical solutions to complex business problems.

5+ years of experience in risk management, compliance, operations, or a related field within a fast-moving environment.

Proven experience scaling operational processes and delivering measurable improvements.

Strong ability to analyze data, identify trends, and use insights to influence business decisions.

Experience collaborating cross-functionally on complex operational challenges.

Ability to assess risks, make sound decisions, and manage high-impact situations with good judgment.

Strong problem-solving skills with a customer-focused and solutions-oriented mindset.

Ability to challenge existing processes and recommend meaningful improvements.

Experience analyzing feedback patterns and translating insights into operational enhancements.

Strong ownership mindset with the ability to manage priorities and deliver results independently.

Preferred experience with risk assessment strategies, payment processing systems, or financial technology environments.

Knowledge of payment-related risks and operational controls is a plus.
